Tršar’s exhibited works showed a logical development of his sculptural expression from the form of a full sculpture, through “group sculpture” with a strong monumental emphasis, to psychologically characterised portraits. By addressing the issue of masses that push into the space, and providing original solutions, Tršar rose to prominence in Slovenian sculpture as a markedly creative personality.
