Vladimir Lakovič
(1921-1997)Vladimir Lakovič was born in Doberdob. He studied painting under Professors Nikolaj Pirnat, France Mihelič, Božidar Jakac and Gabrijel Stupica at the
Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana. He graduated in 1949. He continued his studies with a specialization in painting under Professor Gabrijel Stupica, and completed it in 1951.
He won the Prešeren Fund Award for his painting works in 1973.
