Prešeren Fund Award Winners
Zmago (Zmagoslav) Jeraj
(1937-2015)Zmago Jeraj was born in Ljubljana. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, where he graduated under Professor Zora Petrović in 1960. Further, he specialized in painting under Professor Gabrijel Stupica at the Academy of Fine Arts in 1967.
He won the Prešeren Fund Award for his artistic achievements in drawing and painting with gouache in 1985, as well as the Prešeren Award for his lifetime achievement in 2009.
